I don’ think these bombs are that technically difficult. I remember in the first Gulf War, they needed a penetrator for some purpose and the scientists at Eglin AFB simply sawed off the barrel of a tank and made one.
I think all these type weapons are developed at Eglin BTW.

There was an article a while back to the effect that Israel was working on limited-range EMP generators that could sterilize Iran’s command-and-control capabilities prior to an attack. They may be holding off on a bombing raid until those devices are ready to go.

The Iratians have buried the critical facility deep in a mountain - much like NORAD is buried in Thunder Mountain. There is some doubt whether a bunker-buster could touch it effectively.
Still, I can imagine the Israelis can find some alternatives... They could probably start in Teheran.
