Holder warns DOJ employees against soliciting prostitutes

Attorney General Eric Holder sent a memo to employees of the Department of Justice Friday, reminding them that soliciting prostitutes is against agency rules and that violation of those rules could lead to suspension or termination.

“The solicitation of prostitution threatens the core mission of the Department, not simply because it invites extortion, blackmail, and leaks of sensitive or classified information, but also because it undermines the Department's efforts to eradicate the scourge of human trafficking,” the memo said.

The memo was sent weeks after a Justice Department watchdog report alleged several Drug Enforcement Administration agents attended "sex parties" with prostitutes in an unnamed “host country” paid for by local drug cartels.

> soliciting prostitutes is against agency rule

It’s against the LAW!!

But the Holder Dept. of Just-us is really more concerned about rules and regulations than law, because the former can be changed at the whim of the administrator, while the latter must be deliberated by a representative body and adjudicated by a court. Too “constitutional” for a communist like him.

Did he copy Secret Service?

Last I heard they were part of the Treasury Department, not Justice.

To be fair (not that Holder deserves fair) the memo regards conduct while in other countries where prostitution is legal. So technically this isn’t a matter of law.

The military has the same policy.

He knows soliciting is illegal, they know soliciting is illegal, and he knows that they know that soliciting is illegal. Yet this notification is done in such a way as to draw attention to it.

What self interest is he serving in doing this? Does he need to CYA for some brewing scandal? Is someone about to blow the whistle on him for something?

There has to be something behind the scenes here because why would he care about something like this when he's shown himself to be a scofflaw on much bigger matters?

DC is the prostitute capital of the world.

When the ACA was passed, or was it TARP?, playboy bunnies were seen marching up steps of the buildings there in nothing but those clear plastic raincoats.

All that money leads to all that whoring, on any side.

Should park a few of them at every government building.
