The NSA wants all your communications and the IRS wants (eventually) all your financial transactions. Freedom will become a lost concept.

Will the ones we send money to for not working also have such access?

I am sure to make it fair we will have to pay for the sponges to have computers and online service. That will be just a matter of time.

And, if we cannot trust the IRS, who can we trust?

I can see how this will go. You won’t be able to access the IRS website to make a payment, but you’ll be liable for a late-payment penalty.

What financial information do you think they don’t have already? We just make it easier for them by compiling it every April 15th and sending in.
the idea sux but they already know anyway.

Yep. It would be a simple thing to legislate that all your accounts must be linked to your IRS account.

So they want to be like a Big Brother form of PayPal where you keep an online balance of funds that is constantly added to by payroll deductions that they can abuse at their leisure?

If any of those communications and financial transactions have been/are now/will be electronic, they already have them all.

Get rid of:

The IRS, HUD, and the most useless Dept. of all, the Dept. Of Education.

Our goal is for taxpayers to have a more complete online experience for all their transactions with the IRS.

The goal was/is for the IRS to be truthful to Congress,
FAIL;
and to not lie to and attack Americans with discrimination,

and to not obstruct justice or Congress,

They’d probably also like you to connect this account to all of your other financial accounts, and give them “special drawing rights.” /S

Sounds like a grand plan to substitute for the current asset forfeiture policies!
