Discount retailer really isn’t my #1 place for things that go boom anyway. Don’t really want to find out the hard way why the prices are so low like has happened with so much other stuff from WalMart.

BBell, correct if I’m wrong, but Walmart buys it’s rifles and shot guns from arms distributors rather than bulk buys from mfrs. At least that was the case 14 yrs ago. I had a special order that they didn’t have on their stock list. The manager pulled out several binders that included several distributors. Found what I wanted, she gave me the price and after a deposit ordered the rifle. Had to wait about a week for delivery to the store.
So there aren’t any cheaper grade made for Walmart items.
