Does this mean she’s not proud of America again?

She’s mad that they don’t allow sweat lodges in jail.

The progressives today are trying to eliminate Native American identity from our culture. Every sports team with an “Indian-y” name is targeted.

Killing witches? Yeah, I guess she’s right.

“Reports indicated that in March, 1855 Indians of the Nambe Pueblo in New Mexico butchered three men and one woman of their village, in a most horrible manner, for alleged witchcraft. In 1880, an Indian agent reported seeing a man who was tied up by his wrists behind his back and lifted so that his feet could not touch the ground. The Zuni said that he had brought sickness and death to some of the people. The agent reported the incident to his superiors at Santa Fe, New Mexico, who came to the Zuni to hold a council. When questioned, the Indians replied, “We have our government and laws, and what has happened is all right. We do not want you to interfere, but we want you to allow us the same privileges as you white people claim.” And they added, “ If you will tend to your own business we will tend to ours.”

This is what happens when you come from a culture that arises out of urban legend. Start with truthiness and then spin it out of control.

“Barren lands.” She’s too stupid to even know these are not just some “barren lands” of legend and myth. This is a real place she’s talking about. It’s called Oklahoma, hardly “barren lands”.

Guess what that means.

It means MORE.

I have not relocated any Indians lately. Neither have anyone in my family or any of my friends or acquaintances. Has anyone here done so?

Yeah I have. What is it with friends and me owning a pickup?

“Folks in Indian Country didn’t just wake up one day with addiction problems. Poverty and violence didn’t just randomly happen to this community. These issues are the result of a long history of systematic discrimination and abuse by Democrats.”

Fixed it!

Religious freedom laws....exactly! Scotus opened the way for homosexualism forcing Christians to bake homosexual coupling cakes when it ruled against some western tribes being allowed to perform their peyote rituals which were part of their religion. The Court said that federal law trumps religion. (Who cares that we have a Constitution!?)

In any case, the RFRA was an effort to restore balance.

Now, Michelle is griping that all her people are in favor of depriving Native Americans of their religious rights?

She’s either a dumb lawyer, a dumb historian, or simply likes to hear her gums flap in the wind.

Yea, but they were kicked out of their nice gated communities with swimming pools and golf courses and banished to that horrible place known as flyover country. Heck, there weren't even any Starbucks or anything civilized within miles of those places back then.

I used to work with a lady whose husband was, IIRC, one-fourth Native American. He and their children all received some monthly reparations money from the US Government (taxpayers) for the rest of their lives due to whatever abuses it had been determined were done to his ancestors. I am curious as to whether that program is still in effect. If so, what is the criteria, and how much money do they get. Did FLOTUS mention that this?

Pretty sure that the resident, his bovine companion and others of their ilk are the only ones in present day America who are intent on relocating anyone, and they are intent on relocating Whites out and Browns in.
