It’s a cultural thing. The water method is probably better for your health.
It’s not the water I have a problem with, it’s the “from a toilet that someone else has used” part that bothers me.
You could also jam the faucet up your anus and give yourself a quick enema, which is also healthy.
Just don’t be the second person to do this.
