The stigma of being gay has changed. A big problem arises because there are at least some cases where it cannot be determined who is gay or not. Some people who are thought to be gay are really straight. Some people who are thought to be straight are gay. Homosexual people might become a protected class. Many people might pretend to be gay. How many people who might present themselves as gay in public will be secretly married to heterosexual lovers. Two men or two women may pretend in public to be gay but might be heterosexual in private.
That picture is a term of abuse..it is as bad as Helen Thomas...
