NASA Scientist Believes We're on the Brink of Discovering Aliens
ABC News ^ | Apr 8, 2015 | ALYSSA NEWCOMB

Not only does NASA's chief scientist believe alien life forms likely exist, but she said the space agency knows where to look and could discover signs of extraterrestrial life within the next decade.

Speaking on a panel discussion on Tuesday about water in the universe, NASA's chief scientist Ellen Stofan said she believes the first indications of alien life could come by 2025 -- with more concrete evidence of extraterrestrial life coming in 20 to 30 years.

If you have fire ants in your yard, take a shovel full of one colony and dump it on another colony and watch what happens............

I knew her father. USAF Titan IIIE booster launched NASA planetary missions, Helios, Viking, Voyager. in the 70s.

Ellen Stofan is the daughter of Andrew Stofan, a rocket engineer who worked for NASA in a number of roles including director of the NASA Lewis Research Center and associate administrator for NASA’s Space Station Office.[2]

If NASA wants to find aliens, just go to the southern border and wait a minute or two, there will be lots of them coming along any minute.

The beauty of predicting things 20 to 30 years out is that nobody will be around to hold you accountable, let alone remember what you said.

(Ted) Danson: I Lied, Oceans Didn't Die (November 13, 2007)

RUSH: Remember back in 1988 when this program debuted, Ted Danson predicted that we only had ten years to live because the oceans were going to be dead and, if the oceans died, then we would soon follow? He made a big deal out of this, one of the early environmental alarmists, the brilliant oceanologist, Ted Danson. Back in 1993, on my television show, I implored the Drive-By Media to ask Ted Danson where he got his information on the oceans having ten years left.

RUSH ARCHIVE: They're always making me justify my existence. I wish they'd do that to Hollywood celebrities who claim to be oceanographers and so forth. "Mr. Danson, Mr. Danson, what do you mean we've only got ten years left on earth unless we do -- what's -- what's -- what's your source?" They never do. They just -- whatever Ted Danson or Whoopi Goldberg, any of these other Hollywood celebs say, they just accept it as gospel. When I say it, "Prove it! Where did you get that information? You have no right to say that. You're just a racist, bigot, sexist, homophobe pig."

RUSH: That's how the media reacts to me, "You can't say that, prove it!" Ted Danson makes these claims, "Oh, oh, he cares so much." Well, last Friday on CNBC's High Net Worth, the reporterette Jane Wells interviewed Ted Danson, and she said, "There was a time when you said the oceans are going to be dead in ten years. They're not dead?"

DANSON: No. They're not. But, I'm sure there was some hyperbole in what I said to draw attention to the issue, but you go to science journals now, 70% of the world's fisheries are at a point of collapse.

RUSH: Really? Oh, you lied, it was just hyperbole. So now after being proven to have lied, but, but, but 70% of the ocean's fisheries or the world's fisheries or whatever are at a point of collapse, 70%. So he's been proven wrong, throws another figure out there, wow, we're in trouble, oh, no, 70% of the world's fisheries are closed.

The average scientist needs two data points from which to extrapolate a prediction. The extraordinary one can extrapolate from one data point. But it takes the truly incredible scientist to extrapolate from no data at all.

The phenomena manifests in way too many different forms

AND if you're Biblical at all, the Bible says an angel could look like anyone. That's why it says to be careful how you treat strangers - you could be entertaining angles.
In Sodom, the angles looked like beautiful men and that's why the homos wanted to have sex with them.
Then there's Abraham and the angles. They walked right through the camp to Abraham's tent.
These are spiritual creatures that can come and go on earth, yet they do take physical form.
AND speaking of physical form, God took away the ability of demons to take human form after the flood, which may be why the aliens being seen on earth today don't look human.

Where there’s liquid water, there’s life. We won’t discover *intelligent* life but but primitive or single-celled life on Mars, Europa, or other places where liquid water exists is probable.

That’s not news. Most scientists now think that just over 1,000 mm below the Martian surface and the oceans beneath the ice at least on three moons orbiting Jupiter may contain at least primitive forms of life. And there may be a lot more based on better and better ground and space telescopes looking at planets orbiting nearby stars.

A certain type of vibration, to us, is a tree. So, what if an entity knows how to manipulate those vibrations?

I used to believe that life was everywhere all over the universe. But I think it’s becoming more and more evident that this is it. This is all there is. We’re unique. With all the investigation of Mars one would think there would be some evidence that life once existed. But it appears to be a sterile world as is every place else we’ve looked at. The only way life is getting to other planets is a spaceship from earth.

What kind of ‘scientist’ makes such a prediction? A bad one...

It’s like those people who apply for government grants- is you SAY you are “looking for evidence of climate change” then you get a grant. And Lo and Behold, you find it. So you get another grant.

Reminds me of Mars Attacks...

Mars Attacks

I do not believe in Aliens (from outer space), but I do think that there is ample biblical, circumstantial, and factual evidence for Demons working among us.

"On the brink of discovering" could be anything, as in "Michael Moore is on the brink of discovering his feet."

Ming The Merciless: Pathetic earthlings! Hurling your bodies out into the void, without the slightest inkling of who or what is out here. If you had known anything about the true nature of the universe, anything at all, you would've hidden from it in terror.

I used to believe that life was everywhere all over the universe

According to science, there are 27 dimensions (last I knew) . We only see three (though Einstein added a forth, time). What's going on in the other 24? Dunno. Our reality can't see them!
Maybe life exists in dimension, say, #15. We'd never know unless we could get to and observe dimension #15 to find out for sure.
What if the entities in dimension #15 know how to get into all of our three dimensions? What if they have been visiting us since creation? And every now and then we get a unexpected peek at them?
