Left-wing feminists wanted to raise boys to be women. Done.

I see far too many attractive women in their mid-30’s that have never been married, nor have kids. If I were still on the market I would be concerned getting into a relationship with someone that age who hasn’t had a family yet...

And left wing men, uncomfortable with their own masculinity (or intimidated out of it by the same left wing women), let the women assume the mantle of public masculinity, even as they had usurped the role of private masculinity.

As one of the feminists said, "We've become the men we wanted to marry."

But the truth is, women long for a man to be strong. Why do you think a woman wrote 50 Shades of Ghey, and so many women read it?

*USUALLY* if a girl really wants to get married, she will be married by 30, 32 at the latest.

Rare exceptions are those who are either

a) homely
b) have a big chip on their shoulder
c) are aiming out of their league
d) very intelligent and unwilling to marry down

Finally, someone speaks the truth. Maybe 30 years ago one could talk about renting the cow and all, but with this generation of schlubs, you hit it on the mark. A large portion of this generation does not have the sack to shack up. I would bet money that the virginity rate for males is at an all time high for the last 40 years today. The song from my HS days is becoming prophecy, “We’re turning Japanese”.

Takes secure good paying jobs to get married, have babies, go into debt, mortgages and all that.

Plenty of the secure, good paying jobs that do exist go to women, who then wonder why they can't find a man with a good paying job to marry. Doh!

....”I have a friend who said every time he married he pretty much expected he’d have to give away another house”....

Woman are hardly worth the price men end up paying for today as I see it. So no reason for them to marry when everything they want is already on the market for the right price anyway...and often times for little more than a drink at the bar no matter what level of society the gal thinks she is in.

I you were of similar age and still on the market, wouldn’t she be thinking the same of you. It reminds me of that scene between Robin Williams and Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting.

What is going on is more about the fact that 70% of the millennial women are dismissive, unkind, selfie-taking shrews. You heard it here first.

As well you should be.

No

If women do not value marriage, who’s going to preserve it?

If the percent is true, 70%, then I do not think the problem is just left wingers.

I believe you spotted/noted the cause of low marriage numbers. Men are out for freewheeling sex and no responsibility for a family especially in the black community. Women are out for a sugar daddy in or out of a formalized marriage just as long as there are men to make pay or welfare for independence and support. The US has been plagued with a loss of family living.

Oh here we go....something else to worry about.....George Washington was 27 and Abe Lincoln was 33........wow today really is just terrible. No it is not. People have been getting married older for generations.....some were married young a few generations ago during WWII but some were old because they didn’t marry until after the war.

I was a fathers’ and family rights advocate quite a while back. Did much work with that (writing, editing, research, other volunteer work,...). For one thing, we said that western romanticism had to go.

Saw your comment on the “red pill,” was curious and spent a few minutes looking up the info. Ha! They’re giving up romanticism. Excellent! Just after many of us had said “enough,” some of them found their own words and way.

They should also look into “nonpolitical politics,” self-sufficiency and learning hands-on technical skills, because the greater consequences of the destruction of men and families are coming for all. Take cover.

Men should follow the ancients on how to conduct themselves in regards to women. Other than the obligation to stay away from women married to other men and the wisdom to avoid disloyal women, there’s not much that they should worry about. Young men should each focus on building solid living conditions for themselves (including untouchable homes and funds with contemporary laws and policies in mind) before getting tight with any woman.

More than that: start SPEAKING UP.

Don't let the man-haters monopolize the conversation; don't allow their lies to go unchallenged.

One problem to that is that they're moving to USA and will be influenced by our toxic culture.

Yah. My brother married a Filipino. She already knew how the feminist view of marriage works.

The day she could, she got her citizenship (and her parents who he paid to bring over and live with them), divorced him the same week and courts gave her everything they owned and broke him.

Then a year after the divorce was finalized, she learned that he'd been buying a 10 acre plot of land in Montana. Her lawyer got wind of it, went to the court, court reopened the divorce case, gave the land that she had absolutely NOTHING to do with in any way, shape or form but he got screwed anyway.

Someone remind me again why a guy would get married nowadays?

I've got a set of 30yo twin boys and thankfully they've taken their time about picking mates. I used to be really worried that they were taking so long about it. But it was a lot of worry for nothing.

One has picked a nice little girl that has a LOT in common with him and I suspect it'll go the distance.

Self-sufficiency is part of red pill (self-improvement and confidence being part of “Game”); but many parts of the manosphere, not just the MGTOW (’men go their own way’) crowd, advocate learning trades and crafts rather than a high-priced, useless college degree which is largely overpriced Marxist indoctrination.
