The first ad released by the Ted Cruz campaign, titled "Blessing," boldly proclaims the Senator's Christian faith, Truth Revolt reported Sunday. The ad, released over the Easter weekend, also sparked a great deal of anti-Christian hatred and bigotry.
"Cruz keep religion out of politics you nut," one person commented. "I can't tell if you're running for preacher or president."
"What I love about this the most is that this illiterate christian freak thinks it can win in a general election," another person said, refusing to refer to Cruz as a human being. "Troll me all you want, illiterate christian (sic) morons!"
"That's all we need - a gay hating christ-o-freak in the White House," a third person added. "Keep your myths to your self, and keep your crazy beliefs out of my government Cruz (sic)," wrote another critic.
The ad begins with a scene of Cruz and his family in prayer. Cruz is heard speaking over the scene.
"Were it not for the transformative love of Jesus Christ, I would have been raised by a single mom without my father in the household," Cruz says. "God's blessing has been on America from the very beginning of this nation. Over and over again when we faced impossible odds, the American people rose to the challenge. This is our fight, and that is why I'm running for President of the United States," he adds over images of a military family, people in prayer, and children reciting the Pledge of Allegiance.
"Republican Jesus didnt exist, and neither do Teds chances," snarled the far-left wing PoliticsUSA. "Lets hear him out though. I mean, the guys a Republican. Whats he gonna do but lie?"

Their pain is delicious...
The best strategy IS to run a principled Reaganesque course.
It just requires authenticity, principle, and very thick skin.
None of these exist in the vast majority of politicians.
It was a perfect ad...flush out the evil left wing atheist bigots immediately!
NB: We have folks of all faiths and even “none” here on FR. But the difference between us and the bigots is that we respect each other’s rights to be whatever we are as long as we don’t infringe upon each other.
Remember...the DNC denied God Three Times!
Demons always screech the loudest when they're being cast out.
How could any calm, reasoned approach, begin to counter this type of insane screed?
It couldn't, so I won't bother, but it is pervasive over at DU and other left wing lunatic sites.
I used to think it was only the "fringe left" but now I'm not sure that it is just limited to the fringe.
Many demonRATs have lost their Christian Faith, and along with their new atheism, is the hatred that comes with anti-Christian positions.
For over 2,000 years, Christians have been persecuted for no logical reason, just that they believed that Jesus Christ was God.
That belief is enough to send many non-believers into fits of rage and insanity. The above screed is proof.
“Illiterate” was a descriptor they used.
Hmmm. Top student at Harvard Law, solicitor general (head lawyer) for Texas who argued cases and wrote briefs (and repeatedly won) at US Supreme Court.
Champion debater.
The liberal’s belief of intellectual superiority is about to be crushed.
Amen. Thanks!
Crazy people in the country. I try not to even scroll down far enough in most articles or such to even see these idiots comments. Gutter. Is where they reside. Well, actually many in the sewer, worse than just a gutter.
Ping.
praise Jesus.
You stand with God, or against Him. Cruz has chosen to stand with Him. Liberals and Marxists have chosen to stand against Him. Christians know how this story ends.
From the tweets: “What I love about this the most is that this illiterate christian freak thinks it can win in a general election...”
It will piss him off when he discovers that Cruz is all credentialed-up, just like a liberal. Top of class Harvard Law. Supreme Court clerk. He’s as credentialed as you can get but he’s still a Christian and a conservative. But not quite as “illiterate” as the poster thinks.
It’s time to connect the dots with the Democrat party and pure religious hatred. It’s boiling over on the left, and there are endless examples. Either tie the party to them, or force the party to reject them so they don’t participate. Obama is the first party leader to curry favor with this whacked out hate. The party has followed suit. The party is fervently anti-Christian and anti-Jew today. Meanwhile they embrace a papered-over version is Islam and idolize it...ignoring their abhorrent treatment of women, gays and human rights in general.
Apparently the “President” didn’t know either:

What is really funny about them yelling at Cruz, albeit any Republican/Conservative etc., about inserting religion or their beliefs into the “campaign,” is that when Democrats do the same thing it is OK. Like Democrats are the only ones with the “high moral ground!”
Take a look back at Obama’s own campaign and how many times he tried to use Biblical sounding platforms. I would follow that up with ...and failed at their execution because of trying to twist doctrine to fit the progressive meme, he ended up being proven a heretic!
They rail against those who stand on sound doctrine and Biblical teaching, because they fear it.
98% of these leftist morons are sitting at their computers in mommy’s basement in their jammies because they aren’t qualified for any meaningful job. The other 2% are in the congress.
Believe me when I tell you, no it's not.
Each and every leftist I have had the misfortune to encounter says the same things: anti-Christian, you're all bigots, you don't deserve to have an opinion different from mine, etc...
Ever notice that the first thing an anti christian liberal biggot says when faced with his own demise is “God, help me.”
Let’s don’t underestimate “The Left”. One tool they used against Palin was humor, like SNL spoofs.
The Right needs to do the same thing against the atheistic, homosexual, marxists Democratic Party.
