I have no insight, but this article inspired me to go pop a couple Vitamin D gummy vitamins. I also weight lift aggressively for bone health. And in the nice weather, I get a lot of sun, which is the best way to get D.
Also had a vitamin D test a week ago....so now I’ll definitely take care to see the results when they come in.

My doctor has me on 50,000 IUs three times a week. I asked him what the deal was with this vitamin D thing all of a sudden, he said something about a widespread intestinal bacteria. I dunno.

Also had a vitamin D test a week ago....so now Ill definitely take care to see the results when they come in.After news a few weeks ago, I started taking 4K-6K of D3 to see if it helps anything. I use my bow-flex for about 5 hours a week (3 sessions) and run/hike to try to fight off old age - heavy exercise and decent diet has helped keep the 62 year old body in decent shape - no prescription meds for anything at this time and I believe that the exercise is the main cause.
