After my last blood work checkup my doctor recommended that I take vitamin d and the pain I had in my shoulder disappeared.
I also began taking a magnesium supplement and this elevated the muscle cramps in my right leg calve.
Apparently the magnesium helps the muscles to relax.

I have some leg cramping occaisonally. You did mean to say alleviated vice elevated.

Twenty years ago....I used to have severe cramps in my legs. Went onto a magnesium regiment. That took care of that issue and I’m down to maybe four cramps a year in my legs.

You may want to research the difference between magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride -
