I hear that Aaron (formerly “Ice”, currently “Airball”) Harrison has a message for Jeb.....

“Jeb doesn’t even speak English in his own home...it’s Spanish only. “

Disgusting. Isn’t this the United States?

I escaped Mexifornia and am loving hearing nothing but English lately. If amnesty passes, the entire country will be the cesspool that the border states are. And there will be no place to escape to.

I can understand Bush in 1980. Reagan was assailed on all sides by “experts” who said he couldn’t win and that his only remote chance of winning was to pick a Rockefeller Republican (or whatever the term was in those days).

But by 1984, Reagan probably knew he couldn’t really lose his 2nd election and he probably kept his Rockefeller Running Mate on out of nothing but a sense of personal loyalty.

Well, none of that will matter to Jeb. He’ll be ensconced on his ranch, or farm, or in his gated community....he’ll never have to deal with any of it.

Reagan should have picked another vp in 1984.

That would have been sweet, but the damage was done in 1980. I remember the sturm und drang that occurred that year. The RINO Powers-that-be, believe it or not, actually wanted Ford for Veep ("Co-President") and pushed hard for it, but Reagan justifiably rejected it.

GHW Bush was drowning his sorrows in a bar downstairs when someone came running to find him. They'd reached a compromise, the aide told him, and Reagan had relented. The shotgun wedding was accomplished.

Maybe the form is a forgery. I remember the 2000 election where it was reported that the Miami Dade county election commission was 100% Democrat and was responsible for the butterfly ballot that allegedly confused so many voters.

The butterfly ballot confusion occurred in Palm Beach County, where sugarcane cutters from the Caribbean voted by the busload.

Miami-Dade County is home to 15 Peruvian restaurants and 20 Chilean restaurants. Where do they get their clientele in a country of 133 million Americans?

Thanks for the help. I remembered that the butterfly ballot was invented by a Democrat county government but I was not certain of which one. They were in any case hoisted by their own petard, har har!
