I don't dispute the theory. However, right now, if a new Constitution were to be drafted, the financial community (banks, insurance companies and brokerage houses) and their lawyers would have more influence than anyone else. Have we learned nothing about our country since 2008? After defrauding nearly everyone and nearly bankrupting our country in the process, our representatives "forced" these crooks to take hundreds of billions of dollars so that we could save the country. And, both political parties joined in the giveaway.
How can anyone doubt who is really running this country? Do you really think that these gangsters are going to turn the country over to a bunch of "regular folks" and hope for the best?
