In 30+ years as an active conservative, I’ve never heard people so angry, so frustrated, so fed up.

People have no idea how true the above statement is. I have more than his 30 years of activism.

I still have a BIG PROBLEM with us bombing civilian targets in Belgrade to drive Serbs out of a part of their country. Not much different than us bombing Tel Aviv to drive Israel out of Jerusalem. I also have a strong suspicion that there are TWO SIDES to the story over Kosovo, and he’s only talking one side. If the Albanians there were just peaceful Muslims, that would be a FIRST TIME in world history that they were a majority and accepted non-Muslim rule (look at Lebanon, for example).

The rest of the piece is good, though.

“These emotions are supposed to be dissipated by normal political processes. But liberals are bottling them up. And they will blow. It’s only a matter of how.”

Quite possibly by electing Cruz.

It causes a person to wonder if liberals-socialists ever consider that down the road their actions will have unexpected consequences. Perhaps they do otherwise they wouldn’t be so adamant about the removal of all firearms from civilians, so there will be no way to fight back against a corrupt government. History has shown over and over that it has been done before, usually under the guise of a protective and well meaning government, when just the opposite happens to be true.

Once again that’s my take Saintgermaine

“And that better worry them, for the coastal elites are uniquely unsuited to a world where force rules instead of law.”

The money quote, IMO.

Another way to put it would be, “Be careful what you wish for, because you might get it.”

Liberals have for many years reminded me of the guy cutting branches off the tree. Except that he’s sitting on the branch and sawing away between himself and the trunk.

They are able to pull the nonsense they do with judicial “reinterpretation” of the Constitution, for example, merely because most of us revere the Constitution.

But every time they do it, they weaken that reverence.

these are the people with most of the guns and the training to use them.

But theirs is the Military, feminized and homosexualized. That sounds wimpy but homosexuals with hatred and guns are operationally very similar to ISIS jihadists in their creative cruelty and sadism. Hitler knew and used that characteristic.

They're also massively outnumbered.

That village behind me wasn’t blown up by explosives. That damage was done by people, with picks and shovels and bare hands.

Dang.

I think that is the essence of Liberalism -- "I take this position because it makes me feel good about myself today. I really don't care if there are unintended consequences, why bother to think about tomorrow?"

I just can’t see our military turning their guns on American citizens - their own family, neighbors, friends.

Not many queers join the military, regardless of new rules. Those that do aren’t going to be the coastal metro all done up with a pedicure and an oily haircut that you can spot a mile away, without looking at the wrist, body movements, or hearing their speech.

Even if they were that type you think around what I estimate to be between .5%-1% of the entire American population can do much against 60-70% of the rest? Probably .005%-.010% of the total military. The rest are born in the midwest, raised by Americans. They are a super super minority, a micro minority.

Good piece. Expresses what a lot of people are quietly thinking.
When that majority loses its respect for the "rule of law" according to liberals, there is going to be a lot of squealing pigs on the butcher's block.

Overly enthusiastic officers who want to crush American patriotism are likely to get fragged.
