I was one of the first fisherman on the reservoir. Me and my brother carried a small boat with a 2.5hp motor. We slept overnight at Yarberry boat ramp and accessed off of Antioch Church Road at 5am. There was a 5ft mound to stop cars about 500ft from the shore, the road just continued on under water. This was 1979.
Caught about 20 bass, all 5in long. :^)
It was kinda neat.
