Thank loads, anti nuke nutters

Putting a few nuclear power plants on the California coast is probably not a great idea. Remember, Fukishima was earthquake hardened and look what happened there.

You are outdated.

Fukushima was flooded and the backups failed.

All nuke plants in the US now have emergency generators in hardened buildings to be used as backups to the backups.

OK, gas turbines then. I wouldn’t worry too much about nuclear, but if water is the issue, I wouldn’t let the power source get in the way of a solution.
