We saw examples of the typical leftist inability to understand reality during the Stalin era. People in the Soviet concentration camps really believed they were in the camps because of some bureaucratic snafu. They stupidly believed that Stalin would rescue them, if only he knew about the camps.

I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Yuri Bezmenov, a KGB defector. He helped “handle” people like Ted Kennedy and other useful idiots/sympathizers when they visited the Soviet Union. We learned a lot from him.
