Do you disagree that appeals to the Bible are counterproductive?
Or do you just think that they should not be counterproductive? I actually agree with you on that, but my opinion, or your's, does not change the world.
We do not live in the world of James Madison because we have lost the will to speak the truth. Appeals to the Bible and that book’s influence on the founding of this Republic are appropriate. If we hide from this fact, we dig a deeper hole. Directly, appeals to the Bible are not counterproductive. They are an essential defense.
God is truth...but to be a rational man....truth is God... even an atheist if they contend they are rational must have truth as God...and bow to it ...despite thier wants... else are nothing but irrationally
prove to.other by logic their thinking is irrational, illogical and does not stand up to any critical thinking...
it is how you prove a law “unlawful”..it's how you prove a right does not come from arbitrarily from men's whims... but from the creator external to man..the rules of natural law
Crush a leftist by proving him just an ignorant bible thumper..just something different bible, like the New York Times book on the month
Reminding blacks and Hispanics and less devout whites that there is an issue of rejecting Christ in their liberal/libertarian voting is not counterproductive.
To remove God and morality from the discussion of voting in support of gay marriage, pretty much eliminates discussion and supports the libertarians/leftists.
