So the GOPe can remember 1964 when the nominated a strong Conservative and lost big, but they don't remember 1976, 1992, 1996, 2008, and 2012 when they nominated the "safe" candidate and lost big. Meanwhile, they don't remember 1980 when they oopsed and nominated a strong Conservative and won bigger than ever before or since except for 1984 (which they also forget) when they nominated a strong conservative and won in the biggest landslide ever.


Selective memory syndrome anyone?
