I used to get fund-raising letters from them all the time. Instead of donating, I would take several fund-raising letters from conservative organizations, stick them in the pre-paid envelope, and send them to the ACLU.
Although I figured that the act would, at most, cost the ACLU pennies, it was emotionally satisfying.
That’s a good idea. I think I’ll do the same with the continual AARP solicitations we get.
“Well, thats only 93% to go, then. Its a start.”

I used to like to fill out the bingo cards I got from the Boston Globe with the address of neighbors with Obama or Dukakis lawn signs. A pox on both their houses.
“...stick them in the pre-paid envelope, and send them to the ACLU.”

The heavier the package, the more they pay. First class by the ounce, I believe. I have considered wrapping & sending bricks.
