I would suspect that a few of the people who buy steak on EBT work off the books for people, and are buying for their employers, to trade for cash.
That is a possibility as well. Those who don’t qualify for food stamps get those who do to get them steaks, etc., and pay half price for it. They are equally at fault.
Everyone makes out on Socialism except the taxpayers who finance it. The corporations, their suppliers, farmers, store owners and the end users. The rest of us are perpetually screwed. It’s the ongoing rape and destruction of the middle class.
