Overlooked in the media coverage of and academic debate about physician-assisted suicide: its not the people most likely to receive it who are promoting it. Its the well off and healthy who are calling for it, Farr A. Curlin, M.D., the Josiah C. Trent Professor of Medical Humanities at Duke University School of Medicine said at the Heritage Foundation on March 30, 2015.
On the same panel on which Dr. Curlin spoke, Ryan Anderson of the Heritage Foundation noted that disability rights groups are actively opposing such measures. Moreover, Anderson pointed out, in Oregon, which has physician-assisted suicide, 95 percent of people who commit suicide are suffering from a mental illness that could be diagnosed medically.
As well, Anderson pointed out that the widow of Senator Edward Ted Kennedy, D-Mass., Victoria Kennedy campaigned against the physician-assisted suicide law in Massachusetts.
She said it was against everything her husband stood for. He wanted health care for everybody.
Currently, such legislation is rolling through the United States like a steamroller, Kathryn Jean Lopez, a senior fellow at the National Review Institute (NRI), said. The NRI co-sponsored the event at Heritage.
Indeed, 18 states and the District of Columbia are currently considering physician-assisted suicide laws, Anderson reported.

Except for that Mary Jo chick. She was trouble! *SPIT*
This is the second barrel of the fight against the Christian society. Abortion is the first. When you become too old or sick to be of value to society it will be your responsibility to kill yourself to save money and discomfort for the other members of society.
It is an attack on the Christian ideal that every person has intrinsic value.
Couple that with the land mine of hedonism and homosexual rights and we are entering a very dark period of human history.
But the elite wants their lives extended and are paying for the research and drugs to do so.
And it matters not whether a law exists allowing me to engage in assisted suicide or preventing me from doing so. No law can or will stop me.
Elitist assisted suicide via government doctors. It’s for the $heeple of the $tate. Do it yourself $heeple.
Yup, the coming medical care “gap”.
But ass-istance only for the elite? As for the kennedy clan, maybe bobby jr’s ex would have used a physician instead of a rope.

Well, if those rich Democrats can’t legislate you off their roads and beaches, then they’re just going to have to kill you.
Whatever happened to “First, do no harm”?
One of 'em even used an aircraft!
Dear Elites
You First
Every time one of those death merchants says anything, I really want to scream. But if I did that, I would be labeled "irrational" and have my 2nd Amendment rights abrogated. These days, the monsters are not branded as extreme because the MSM and most politicians are in bed with them. I pulled up Netflix last night and watched the first five minutes of the first episode of "Falling Skies". The other night, the same thing with "Walking Dead". In both cases, it seemed too much like an average day's news broadcast - too depressing to continue with.
So when can we apply these principles and techniques and eliminate those that seek to destroy humanity- the elites?
George Soros, Bill Gates, David Rockefeller, Warren Buffet etc.
