DUBAI/BEIRUT - The leader of Friday prayers in Tehran hailed a framework nuclear deal reached by Iran and world powers, a sign that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other hardliners will back the accord.
Ayatollah Mohammad Emami-Kashani, a 78-year old hardline cleric, gave the weekly sermon at Tehran University -- a duty that rotates around senior members of Iran's conservative clerical establishment.
"The negotiating team is firm, wise and calm," Emami-Kashani said, according to the Iranian Students' News Agency (ISNA). "The Supreme Leader supports these representatives," he added.
Iranian President Hassan Rouhani initiated the talks with the United States, Britain, France, China, Russia and Germany after winning power in 2013, dispatching his foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, to lead the negotiations.
And a blood red moon this Sunday, April 4.
This is actually very clever. Both for Obama and Mullahs Regime.
Obama scores, or thinks he will, in breaking a deal (so far a ‘framework’) for such a contentious issue.
Mullahs Regime score BIG/HUGE domestically, and after a decade at least, to show they can negotiate with the Chief, and make in-roads, so far.
Iranian People are mostly happy because they’ve been isolated for decades; politically, economically, and socially. In reality, sanctions have hurt the average person there much more than the Regime.
There is another shrewd angle to this entire charade; maybe more on that later - see how things shape up by June.
isolation of Israel and/or provoking them into an attack on iran for survival. With demons such as the obama administration and Iran clerics, there is always a multistep process to reach their ultimate end goal: death.
