This was completely predictable. If she was prosecuted she might have decided to fire back at them in revenge and take them all down with her. The administration was never going to take that chance.
Lerner was and is holding all the cards. No high bureaucrat in government knows more secrets, fraud, criminal action and an enormous range of shenanigans going on in governmental and political high echelons than an IRS chief......of any party.
Lerner can bring Obama, Holder and any number of tainted officials in the president's thugocracy down in a DC minute if she chooses.
However, in exchange for her silence, the Obama administration has guaranteed she continues to breath fresh air instead of eating prison fare.
This is Obama/Holder/Lerner crony-corruption of stratospheric proportions....a deliberate, insulting punch to the faces of our citizenry, and a stain on the history of our Republic, our laws....and our Constitution.
And they have NO shame about it at all.
