JB was and is a Common Core advocate, and that is a big issue here. Parents and school districts are now advocating an end to CC, standardized testing. Students are refusing to take the tests.
He is being found to be more and more out of touch.
I'm beginning to think Jeb clings to tightly to Common Core because he thinks it vaccinates him against the performance of the Florida school system. Anyone points out that Florida schools stank under his administration and he says "I was for Common Core! Rigorous Standards! Testing! Next topic please!"
But it's a disaster. Everyone except those from the bubble of PhD educators needs but one look at basic third grade math instruction to know it's insanity. It makes Jeb look out of touch at best and dumb at worst to not see it too.
