Crystal O’Connor, the co-owner of Memories Pizza in Indiana, says it may not be safe to re-open their pizzeria after they said they wouldn’t cater a gay wedding.
“I don’t know if we will re-open, or if we can, if it’s safe to re-open,” O’Connor said on TheBlaze TV’s Dana. “We’re in hiding basically, staying in the house.”
O’Connor recently told WBND-TV, “If a gay couple came in and wanted us to provide pizzas for their wedding, we would have to say no.”
She made it clear that they are happy to serve gay customers, but would not be a part of the wedding because of their religious beliefs. National news outlets quickly picked up the story.
O’Connor said they have since received an endless flood of “bashing” comments on social media, and their Yelp page has been trashed. One reviewer wrote that they serve an “intolerance special with toppings of hate, bigotry, stupidity, and old fashioned beliefs.” And a high school gym coach from Walkerton, Indiana has been suspended after urging people on Twitter to burn down their establishment.

So, they kind of choose when to be homosexual? The act is what defines them, and they choose when to engage in that act.

Methinks a little Karma is due the person or persons who started trashing this small businesse’s reputation.
I was shocked that yelp didn’t pull their page after all the nastiness that were not reviews being posted there.
I’ve never been to a wedding that featured pizza caterers. Do they dress up in tuxes and work as servers? All the pizzas I have seen at parties was either picked up by the party goers or conveyed by a delivery man. Whether it’s a Scout meeting, a drunken frat orgy, or a wedding, it’s all the same—some pimply faced teenager dropping off boxes at the door.
So I don’t really see what the big deal unless they are being asked to be a part of the ceremony. Just sell the pizzas and don’t ask what they are buying it for.
I don’t want to participate in a gay wedding, but I also wouldn’t. Want to interrogate customers about what they are going to do with the stuff I sell them. If I sell flowers to a man, should I ask him if he has honorable intentions, and make sure he isn’t going to use them to seduce a woman into bed that he isn’t married to?
Of course I know in most high profile cases the gays are cramming it down the business’s throat. Nut I just don’t see pizza delivery men as being involved enough in any event to make this worth sticking their necks out over.
Well, that’s interesting. They dropped the funding amount down from $50,000 to $25,000 now. That was done just in the last 15 minutes!
Perhaps they figure they don’t need as much money.
Are you talking about the has been actor whose only claim to fame is that he played a minor character on Star Trek, a character just one step above the expendable red-shirts? He was really only memorable for the one episode where he got to swish a sword.
Not hard to figure out.... A friend of mine owns an event venue and it's very common when writing up the contract to have the bride & groom's names. If it's Steve & John or Jane & Betty you can be sure it's not a normal marriage.
Pick out a suitable LGBT-owned business, post on Facebook that although the business owners respect the LGBT crowd and value their patronage, because of the religious beliefs of the owners they will not serve them for selected special occasions. Then stand back.

The Conservative response will be to write some columns. If you're a Conservative in America today and are targeted by Liberals activists, then you're absolutely screwed. You're finished.
