‘Obama said he opposed gay marriage in 2008, but do you think anyone in the MSM will hold him to that?’

I wondered as well so I asked several of my lefty neighbors here in Austin the same question.

The lefties response: ‘Obama EVOLVED as should the REST of the nation.”

How's that going to work? Homosexuality is an evolutionary dead end.

There are four problems with that argument:

1. As a state senator in Illinois, Obama stated his support for gay marriage, years before he claimed to oppose gay marriage. So he must have devolved before he evolved, or else he was lying on one or both occasions.

2. In a recent memoir, former Obama advisor David Axelrod said that Obama lied about his views on gay marriage in 2008.

3. Libs hailed Obama as a great man even during the time he said he opposed gay marriage, whereas now anyone who opposes gay marriage is an unregenerate bigot.

4. Who are libs to proclaim how fast everyone should "evolve," and why is their timetable the only legitimate one?
