It is written upthread that Menendez' possible inside knowledge of Bubba's trips to Orgy Island could be his (the Senator's) stay-out-of-jail ticket.

How so? Obama would like nothing better than to see the Senator blow the whistle on Bill/Hill, and see all three of them fed to the sharks, thrown in the clink, ridden out of DC on a rail.....and politically out of his hair forever.

Obamugabe is slavering for an easy revenge "threefer-in-one here"....and he's going to get his way, you can make book on that.

The Senator's only hope of staying out of Club Fed is if he has something on OBAMA that his attorney can take to the bargaining table.

Menendez probably broke the law. But many do.

I tend to think Sharpton or another AA from the Jersey area put a target on him. Maybe a Muslim from Jersey. Maybe 10 years ago. Maybe he insulted an AA kid?

All politics is local. Tribal too.

Leni - Obama as we know is very vindictive. Menendez has been challenging Obama on almost every foreign policy issue.

I don't think Obama cares one fig of how this will affect others

He already has a bit of a victory because Menendez has stepped down from his senior membership of the committee.
