All of CA’s illegals are using up a lot of water. Deport them and US citizens won’t have to sacrifice AGAIN.

But desalinate water and provide an adequate amount of water to the populace?

Nah. Control can’t be gained by doing that.

Brown was never thrown out of office. He won two elections for governor (1974, 1978), lost a race for senator (1982), and then won two more races for governor (2010, 2014).

What this means is that Northern California will have to ration water so Southern California doesn’t have to.

They’re going to have a “train drain” of billions of dollars for jack sh1t.

Instead they could use a fraction of that money to build desalination plants, and then sell the salt to Northern states.

Moronic liberal idiot “legacies”.

I don't see how. They almost NEVER use toilets, and when they do, don't flush.

Seriously.

Since 2005, Israel has opened four desalination plants, with a fifth set to go online later this year. Roughly 35 percent of Israel's drinking-quality water now comes from desalination. That number is expected to exceed 40 percent by next year and hit 70 percent in 2050.

Common sense isn’t all that common, and apparently even less so in Cali?

Yes, your thoughts are right on target, and there are so many ways this could be productive. Small nuclear plants along the coast could provide power and water. The power could be sold to offset the increased cost of the water.

Hard to argue against that.

There are some brilliant people in California, but when it comes to public policy they get zero for their efforts.
