The federal government has signed agreements with three foreign countries Mexico, Ecuador and the Philippines to establish outreach programs to teach immigrants their rights to engage in labor organizing in the U.S.
The agreements do not distinguish between those who entered legally or illegally. They are part of a broader effort by the National Labor Relations Board to get immigrants involved in union activism.
The five-member board is the agency that enforces the National Labor Relations Act, the main federal law covering unions. In 2013, Lafe Solomon, the board's then-acting general counsel, signed a "memorandum of understanding" with Mexico's U.S. ambassador. The current general counsel, Richard Griffin, signed additional agreements with the ambassadors of Ecuador and the Philippines last year.

What do you mean, the story of America since 1850?
Back then America did not have tens of millions entering illegally, at will as we've had for several *decades* now.
America is now told they'll get strafed with union educated illegal aliens?
No, that's wasn't the story back then.
They don’t need to be taught anything, they have ben unionizing for years,
The farm workers are striking in Baja now
Pemez is one of the strongest unions anywhere.
Just what we need here...Sindicatos. Oh man, this stuff never ends. Whoever is in charge of this country is deliberately tearing it apart at the seams.
I guess that the idea is to unionize immigrants as a class.
Look at your history, Catholics first started immigrating to America in the 1840s and by 1850 had already reached 5% of our population and they were bringing unionism with them to the big cities.
This article is about agreements to promote unionism with 3 Catholic countries, and we have had 10s of millions of
catholic voters and their offspring imported by the passion of JFK’s Immigration Act, passed in 1965, in his honor, after his death.
The democrats and unions depend on the continued supply of Catholic voters and it is a self filling cycle.
Look at the comments.
What we have today is basically a violent illegal invasion from a country where the people have no respect for our laws and rules.
That wasn't happening in the mid-1850s into the early 1900's, or ever on the massive scale from the late 1960s to present day and this is just regarding illegals alone.
Now matter how ya chop it up, your version of the past is not what's happening today.
In fact what has been occurring since the late 1960s to now, has never happened in our country’s history.
Except maybe the paleface invasion...
You’re right .. and maybe not just voting themselves, but teaching them how to vote more than once.
I just don’t trust any of the unions anymore. They are desperate - they see their power slipping away. People do stupid stuff when they feel threatened.
Whoa! I had not thought of that possibility .. That is something to pray about. Thanks.
You don’t know what created the problem, or what maintains the problem, or why the problem is not going to end.
You think that illegal immigration is maintaining the democrat party and the power of the immigrant, rather than the mass legal immigration that has been the battlefield for well over a 100 years, and that won it’s great and permanent victory over America, in the 1965 Immigration Act.
> Whoa! I had not thought of that possibility .. That is something to pray about. Thanks.
Strategy and thinking like the enemy is one of my strengths; a skillset I’ve used professionally as well...: )
Where did ya get that?
That's not what I said, implied or think. What I said was very clear.
BTW, all of that is incorrect too.
I fully understand exactly what has been occurring for several decades.
Decades? Good luck that.
No luck is needed.
One only needs to understand what has occurred in the U.S. since the late 1960s.
For those paying attention it’s not been hard to miss .
At least you can see the moment you personally live in, somewhat, you still don’t understand the depth of the problem, and why mass immigration of democrat voters is not going to end.
It really started increasing by the late 70s. It was total escalation right through the 80s & 90s up to now.
I know exactly what happened. I watched it right from the epicenter of this disaster.
You don't know your history.
LOL, good luck with things.
