How many private contractors are doing jobs that the military was once responsible for? I doubt that those private enterprise contracts cost less than obligations to those who serve would.

“”He would cut military benefits but never the useless pencil pushers working in all the useless agencies.””

Speaking of pencil pushers - can anyone guesstimate the number of cars in the parking lots at the National Security Agency from pictures on TV today from the news of the incident there? Those cars represent a heck of a lot of employees in one agency. Wikipedia says 30,000-40,000 employees at the agency but doesn’t say if that’s in that one facility or if they’re spread out.

I remember one of the thrillers I read some time ago - either Brad Thor or Vince Flynn or the like that had the NSA facility in the story plot and about a lane or lanes of the highways through that part of the state that strictly feed straight into the facility grounds. Some freeper must be familiar with the area and I wondered if that was authentic.
