You and me agree! I'm beginning to hate the government at all levels; I just want them to leave me and others alone and let us self-rule to a greater extent. Nanny-state governing sucks (as in wearing seatbelts and helmets, kids school-lunches, and taking my taxes to give to others I dislike). People shouldn't be banned from carrying anything around with them. Government should take action only when someone assaults innocents or damages others' property, as in this situation. These days the government thugs are assaulting innocent citizens who just want to be left alone!
