Ex-CFO Who Slammed Chick-fil-A Lives on Food Stamps (Does Chik-fil-A Accept foodstamps?)

Things haven't gone too well for the former CFO who criticized Chick-fil-A in a video he posted on YouTube. Unable to find lasting work, 37-year-old Adam Smith is living on food stamps with his wife and four kids in the RV they call home, he tells ABC News. "I think people are scared," Smith says of potential employers. "I think people are scared that it could happen again." Back in the summer of 2012, as thousands of people were opposing Chick-fil-A's stance on gays, Smith rolled into a Chick-fil-A drive-thru for a free glass of water and slammed the female attendant: "Chick-fil-A is a hateful corporation," Smith told her as the filmed the exchange. "I don’t know how you live with yourself and work here. I don’t understand it." Smith posted the video before returning to work at Vante, a Tucson-based medical manufacturer—and the proverbial you-know-what had hit the fan by the time he got there.

The receptionist told him "the voicemail is completely full, and it’s full of bomb threats," he says. Fired that day, Smith lost his $200,000 salary and more than $1 million in stock options. He and his family moved to Portland, where he got a CFO job, but lost it two weeks later when they realized who he was.

The jerk has only himself to blame for the spot he is in. What was he thinking? He wasn’t thinking at all. He deserves to be on food stamps and living in an RV! Yes, Karma is a nasty lady.

Good riddance. He was so snarky. He thiught he would be a hero to all his liberal friends for telling off the hired help and acting oh so self righteous in his support of homosexual marriage.

Why doesn’t some liberal give him a $200K job which he obviously feels so entitled to have ???

Pack up the RV and head for Provincetown—or Fire Island—or West Hollywood. You’re sure to be a hero in those communities and will have no problem getting a job.

Chief financial officers are expected to maintain a certain degree of respectability and decorum. Duh!

"I feel sorry for his family."

I don't. This kind of progressive stupid is genetic. He's already passed it on to his whelps. The good point, however, is that his offspring will spend 6 years and $80,000 in student loans getting a degree in Womyn's Studies. They too will spend the rest of their lives in a Portland trailer park yapping about how oppressed they are.

Author Neil Colgras, please refresh my memory on Chick-fil-A's stance on gays because I don't believe they have one.
