That’s what I thought you are a racial hypocrite. You can’t believe too much in ‘colorblindness’ if you advocate that it is OK for groups to be racial I don’t care what the reason is. By it’s very nature arguing that one group can advocate for themselves but not another blows so called colorblindness out the window as a big lie. ALL races can come up with a reason why it is a good idea to advocate for special treatment. This is exactly why it has never worked but by force. That is exactly why we have race relations where they are. The Black Caucus, the Hispanics Caucus, affirmative action, the black this, the black that. I can have special race groups and you can’t because...
I’d throw all of that out.
But the government enforces all kinds of racial groups and bad social policies that put these young girls at a significant disadvantage.
This is about as harmless a race-conscious effort as there is out there. It still wouldn’t be my approach, but I’m not going to condemn what is an effort in this environment to help a group that we, as a government, put at a significant disadvantage.
(BTW, that disadvantage, again, is around family formation. Those same girls get a significant advantage in areas such as college admissions.)
