Big Wall Street banks are so upset with U.S. Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren's call for them to be broken up that some have discussed withholding campaign donations to Senate Democrats in symbolic protest, sources familiar with the discussions said.
Representatives from Citigroup, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs and Bank of America, have met to discuss ways to urge Democrats, including Warren and Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown, to soften their party's tone toward Wall Street, sources familiar with the discussions said this week.

Frankly, she may be right on this one on antitrust and system stability grounds. Banks “too big to fail” shouldn’t be allowed to exist, so they can, indeed, fail when they stink at banking.
Like banks don't know how to get around that maximum. LOL

It is my opinion that anyone contributing money to Democrats needs to be investigated for being involved in corruption. These Banks have obviously been doing a quid pro quo with the Democrats. I think it’s the only way Democrats can operate.
I hate to admit that I agree with her, but I do.
So do I. Both parties have sold us out to Wall Street
And they tend to give a little or a lot to all the candidates so they can remind the winners of their benevolent donations.
They do need to be broken up though, too big to fail is too expensive to bail out
The government created these monsters.
Not just banks need to be broken up...Internet and technology companies need to be broken up too. Think Google, Microsoft and a few others.
I would say the biggest problem is our own government.
Now THAT is where we need to break things up. Not only break it up but destroy most of it. It has become the enemy of the American people.
Sure they are. The one that contributes where the others don’t gets the inside track. They just have to find a way to keep it under the table.
