WHen I see articles like this I realize they are very leery of a Ted Cruz candidate because he speaks and CONNECTS with the people as well as anyone I've listened to since Reagan.

Yes, very impressive. He said the first thing he did was to hand out to his team’s David Plouffe’s book on the 2008 OBAMA campaign. He emphasized entrepreneurial approaches at the grass roots. For example, the (later) Cruz posters of him shirtless, tattooed, ripped, smoking a cigarette were all done outside his campaign; and a hashtag “cruztovictory” campaign organized entirely without direction from his people, swamped a leftist “cruzyoulose” campaign massively, becoming the 2nd largest hashtag in the WORLD.
I agree. Any godliness/righteousness that a man has is not his own. Christ is our righteousness; anything else is self-righteousness. The hope of our nation is not in politics per se. Our institutions have been corrupted by godless men. This nation will change for the better when born-again men and women become the head in: government, media, education, arts, business and yes - the church house.
