It is very well known that few converts are able to keep their conversion secret. Or want to.
As far as his being homosexual, most of what little information we have about his private life comes from a GF who recently broke up with him.
Just like the inferences you can draw when reports of "teens" misbehaving have no descriptions or photos accompanying. And the inferences will be correct 99% of the time.

There is not a shred of proof so far. Your source simply quotes Mannheimer, who hasn`t any proof either. That`s probably the reason why he`s pulled his post.
