The Euro weinies are in Negative Interest rate territory and we are going the other way? What gives?
I can't say anything about interest rates, but as a general statement:
Europe would like to fix itself, and takes actions which they believe will help them. The Obama Admin is trying to go down a path of destruction, and takes actions accordingly.
