RE: Cruz does not support deportation, either. Every damned one of them has been bought.

Well, if this is the case, then even Mark Levin, our respected constitutionalist, did not come out in support of deportation, at least not for those who have been here since childhood.

Levin’s stance is quite similar to Ted Cruz’s stance — No amnesty now ( but they did not say no amnesty ever ). Secure the borders first, then when we’re satisfied that it is REALLY secure, we’ll talk about what to do with those kids, but not until.

Has Mark Levin been bought too?

A Reagan do-over. This is Reagan’s biggest failure, giving amnesty with promise of border security later. Never happened and we’ve been faced with a massive infestation of illegal aliens ever since. Can Cruz secure the border and do so before any further discussions? I’d like to think so. After that, let’s talk about deporting, self-deporting, and other options. I’m an optimist we can still win this battle but only with someone that will stick to their course of action.

Not bought, just unwilling to think through to the logical and necessary end of the problem. Compassion gets in the way. Eisenhower showed that deportation is not nearly so large a project as it is thought to be. Round up a few and take them to southern Mexico. Shut down some businesses. When the illegals can't find work and wee that the government is serious about kicking them out they will take themselves back across the border.
Not bought but the compassion renders them the same as bought.
