A point to be made is that what Starbucks did became a public relations disaster. Despite its awful quality, coffee is what people go to Starbucks for. Few people looking for as great chicken sandwich are happy to get a lecture, sermon or whatever this messaging might be.
Correct. Chick-Fil-A is a business, and they remember what their purpose is (save the cows!). Anybody can go in there and buy a sandwich.
It was the preachy culture that went ballistic on them because somebody in the corporate structure had donated money to a pro-family organization. Silly biddies! Corporate donations are for the Gay Mafia, and don't you forget it!
