A site called defence-blog.com, reports:

Egyptian navy has fired warning shots at Iranian warships near Bab el-Mandab Strait.

They go on to say that "The Saudi navy’s western fleet has also secured Yemen’s main ports including Aden and Midi. (and) has imposed a naval blockade on Bab El-Mandab strait which connects the Red Sea with the Indian Ocean."

I read earlier that the Egyptians had chased the Iranians out of the area, but this is the first I've read that they had actually fired “warning shots” at the Iranians.

If this is true, it is a significant development and is a signal of the likelihood of imminent overt hostilities between the Egyptian/KSA “coalition and the Iranians, which is a serious issue for all involved, not to mention the armed forces of almost every country in the world.
