He could be found to the the secret head Imam at the mosque in Bremen, and it wouldn’t change a thing.
He could have yelled “Allahu Akbar” for the last 10 minutes of his life at the top of his lungs, and it wouldn’t matter.
He could have taken all the flight attendants hostage in the cockpit, and beheaded them one at a time in the 3,000 ft/min descent, and it wouldn’t matter.
Because Islam is the official ROP since 9/11, and nothing anyone does or says will change any minds in our current administration, or congress.

Some of us have to fly either for business or for family.
The US has fairly tight rules. I know because I was given the once over recently by the TSA at Charlotte Airport. But did I mind or whine or complain? Only when I was asked if I were a gun advocate, to which I replied, “I’m a Second Amendment advocate. But I sure don’t have any such weapons on me.”
Otherwise, 2 hours from my flight, it was all good.

I would say you are optimistic to the point of delusional.
Iran has murdered more Americans than al Qaeda. They owe us a debt of honor for the violation of our home soil, for the murder of 241 US Marines in Lebanon, and for countless other terrorist acts.
While nuclear "negotiations" have been going on, the "Supreme Leader" of Iran has repeatedly insulted our President and our country, who in "retaliation" has sent the Secretary of State back to the table to get down on his knees and kiss their asses.

I read some stuff on blogs and message boards which may not be credible. A search reveals USA Today, Guardian (browser crashes there, WSJ, Telegraph all refer to his FB page and/or profile. That’s where the SFgate photo came from.
