Why didn’t the pilot just pull out his 45 and blow out the lock on the door?
Even if he had a 45, the pilots and suits from the NTSB on CNN’s panel said that a gunshot would not breach the cockpit door. Another added, “Not even a hand grenade.” They really fortified those doors. Yowza.
