By all accounts Cruz is committed to process. In this case compliance with the ACA.

Its probably the only thing about him I am worried about.

I see it this way: when he bashes 0doesntcare, it will be as one who is subject to it, and not exempt from it.

I don’t think a Presidential candidate can afford to be seen as violating the laws that apply to the rest of us. I don’t understand the controversy.

I liked his answer when asked if he was against Obamacare, why he enrolled in it. He said something like, I’m against the IRS but I pay my taxes.

I believe this is a very smart move on Cruz’s part. Only thing I am worried about is if the big Zero figures out that Cruz should get special treatment and just sail right thru the process, then he would have no ammo to use to bring this thing down. The guy is a step ahead of everybody else.
