It does seem to me a bit of denial to not have concern for the cost of prosecution, and incarceration of users at public expense. Not to mention the destruction of your credentials when you are now a former prisoner of the state.
The WOD has been a blatant failure for years. Serving only to do more and more at greater expense, but in reality doing nothing but destroying reputations, while harder drugs were physically destroying lives. Marijuana has not to my knowledge been in that class.
And here is that Liberal propaganda getting repeated once again. Compared to what? Is the "War on Murder" a failure too because we still have murders?
Liberals/Libertarians have unrealistic standards for what they believe a "success" might look like.
