I'm really surprised how your comment about slavery is being misinterpreted here. If there hadn't been slavery in the US, there wouldn't be this massive race problem now.

This simply an accurate historical observation.

Of course that doesn't mean that slavery was unique to the US. And it doesn't excuse the many folks who have since worsened the problem. Slavery was a sin. But it's also a sin to use race as a wedge, making thing worse for one’s own benefit (LBJ, Sharpton, Farrakhan, etc.).

If it were, you’d see this behavior in other countries.

I don’t see blacks in Europe stomping around about how their ancestors were slaves.
