Hero of the Islamic State. I’m shocked. OStumbles said no evidence of any terror type scenario.

The pic on the FB page is the same as the one Fox is airing. only difference is the bridge has been cropped out. Possibly the Golden Gate bridge!

That’s just his FAA license. Nothing special about it.

I don’t believe a 28 year old with low flight time would be flying an airbus/boeing for a US airline. But in other parts of world it’s common.

The FB page was created 15 minutes ago.

I suspect it is a sicko who posted it.

Co piglet Andreas Lubitz...had death wish... was alive and breathing until end... passenger screams heard on recording.

OK but the obvious question becomes why not kill just yourself on your own time?

Last evening, CNN (Anderson Cooper and a couple of other ‘expert commentators’) was debating why there is no camera in the cockpit.

[Libs have a love for cameras. They seem to think that is the answer to everything. Recall the same debate for police to wear cameras after Ferguson.]

==

A camera would probably not have changed anything that happened either in Ferguson or on the aircraft.

==

Now, it appears that this incident was intentional murder-suicide by the co-pilot.

Revenge against airline? FWIW there was a labor dispute.

You know why....They’re going to make some stupid “heart attack” story and never release the names because releasing it would confirm almost everybody’s suspicion.

Yea but it doesn’t add up to me.He had plenty of time to rethink this.Someone banging on the door, alerts going off.traffic control trying to contact him over and over. You think he would have changed him mind. The prosecutor was too quick to say not to go there with terrorism.

They've ruled out any kind of injury to the co-pilot and they have released his name. He's a German national and his name is Andreas something. German sounding name. NO conspiracy here. During the press conference the French investigator was asked the co-pilots name, nationality and religion. The only question he did not know the answer was the religion but answered the other two questions freely and apparently the co-pilot did not have a "mohammad" type name.

Did you read it? It’s total nonsense. This is click bait spam to get people to view ads. Common on web these days. Drudge got duped.

Who knows? It leads to lots of speculation and without any answers keeps all possibilities open, including an a surprise act of terrorism.

Getting the impression the co-pilot was from the religion of pieces and locked the pilot out of the cockpit.

What am I missing?

We know already.

We always know.

I see this popping up more in various blogs that refuse to release photos or names...because the perps are of the expected variety.

I like it!!

“We know”

In the USA:
Known as ATP or ATPL, the Airline Transport Pilot certificate is the highest grade certificate issued by the FAA. It is for pilots what a PhD is for Scientists.
Eligibility

To be eligible for an Airline Transport Pilot certificate, you must know English and:

Be at least 23 years of age; AND
Be of good moral character.

You must already hold one of the following pilot certificates:

If US certified: at least a commercial pilot with an instrument rating; OR
ICAO country: ATP or commercial pilot with an instrument rating, without limitations, subject to background check.

The experience required for an airplane ATP certificate is outlined below.

at least 1,500 hours of total time as a pilot
500 hours of CROSS-COUNTRY flight time
100 hours of NIGHT time or 75 hours + 45 full stop landings at night
75 hours of instrument flight time, or 50 flight + 25 simulator

* flight time - logged time between engine start and engine shutdown after a flight in an actual airplane

* simulator time - logged DUAL instruction in a certified flight simulator or flight training device representing an airplane

* cross country - trips of 50 NM and more can be logged and used for ATP experience purposes even without a landing (private pilot and commercial pilot cross-country requires a landing)

I have always checked out the pilots and speak with them before heading to my seat. You can at least have a first impression and if it’s “off”... LEAVE THE PLANE!
