You’re being overly sensitive.
Why don’t you promote Cruz’s good qualities and actions and not work so hard to attribute negatives to Walker.
Tactics like this make you look desperate.

Well, with all due respect, I think you’re being underly sensitive.
I haven’t criticized Walker for doing what he did. I agree it’s a legitimate political tactic. IF I was a governor running against a one-term senator (no matter how impressive his resume), I would do the same thing.
But I think it’s worth noting and calling him out on it.
