Recall if you will that Usama bin Ladin was forced to leave Saudi Arabia because he was just not welcome. The war in Yemen has been simmering ever since the Brits left way back there. For a time, there were both North and South Yemen reflecting the current split. The Usama types have joined with all sorts of malcontented radical fundamentalists all over. Iran is subverting that fact to achieve a completely separate agenda.

The Iranians have engaged on the side of the Yemani north Houthi and for the GCC -Oman +Jordan, that is intolerable. The Saudi Southern Flank must be protected and the enemy destroyed
